Meet The Chef

Chef Jon Koons

Chef Jon was raised in Tempe, Arizona and culinary trained at Le Cordon Bleu Academy. After spending years working for high-end restaurants and catering companies, he felt the pull of something more personal.

In 2013, Jon relocated to Sonoma County and quickly realized that the wine industry and California's farm-to-table ethos were his true passion. He immersed himself in the local community, working a small, family-owned vineyard to learn all aspects of the wine business from the ground up.

After years of planning, Jon finally launched Sonoma Savory Co. in 2023 and has never looked back.
