Chef Jon Koons
Chef Jon was raised in Tempe, Arizona and culinary trained at Le Cordon Bleu Academy. After spending years working for high-end restaurants and catering companies, he needed a change. In 2013, Jon relocated to Sonoma County and quickly realized that the wine industry and California's farm to table and fresh ingredients were his true passion.
He began a career at a small, family-owned vineyard so he could have the opportunity to learn all aspects of the wine business and immerse himself in the community. While wine became more of a temporary focus, his love of food and vision for his own business never strayed too far from his mind.
After years of planning, Jon finally launched Sonoma Savory Co. in 2023 and has never looked back.
